Mere moments to go, and a familiar twinge in the pit of his stomach reminds Bobby Marsine why he started racing powersleds in the first place. A quick glance to his left is all Bobby needs to bring back his focus. The sleek, black shape of his arch-rival's sled in the pole position stirs his emotions. You think you can take me? Behind the darkened glass of his opponent's cockpit, Bobby can just make out a salute. The gesture of mock respect brings a smile of defiance to Bobby's face, just as the starter's flag goes up. We'll see who's laughing at the end of the day... |
